I was so stressed out about running late to this session and it was a blessing in disguise. I don't think I've seen a prettier sunset this fall than this one. (Yes! Those were the real skies!)

Her story isn't mine to tell, but I will say this. Carly’s journey is one woven with heartbreak, strength, resilience, and a kind of quiet beauty that’s hard to put into words. Even from afar, it’s clear she’s met every twist and turn life has thrown her way with a kind of steadiness that hardly seems possible.

What always stands out most, though, is her love for her kids and her dedication to preserving her late husband's memory. It’s the anchor she holds onto, the compass that keeps her moving forward even on the days when everything feels heavy. There’s something incredibly powerful about watching a mother choose resilience again and again—not because it’s easy, but because her babies deserve the world.

I don’t know if she sees the strength she carries, but I hope she does. It’s a quiet power that deserves to be recognized.
