Your session doesn’t have to fit inside a Pinterest board.

If you have something that makes your family your family—bring it.

A vintage truck.
A surfboard.
A motorcycle.
Your dog’s favorite hiking trail.
A family cabin.
The car which tells your story.

The most meaningful photos are the ones that tell your story, not someone else’s.

Let’s create something that feels like you. 🤍

Nobody asked for my list… but here we are. 😂

Truth be told, once you book your maternity session with me, I’ll happily obsess over everything else—from dresses and styling to locations and making sure you feel absolutely beautiful.

You just show up. I’ll take care of the other 9. 🤍

This session was months in the making.

Between calendars, rescheduling, styling, and trying to find a day that worked for everyone… we finally made it happen. And somehow, everything came together perfectly. The weather, the outfits, the light, the energy… it honestly couldn’t have been a better evening.

The best part? Nobody spent the evening worrying about smiling at the camera.

We wandered downtown, crossed streets, shared ice cream, picked up giant lollipops, laughed until our cheeks hurt, explored little corners, and let the kids simply be kids. Those are always my favorite sessions… the ones where everyone forgets there’s even a camera around.

People often think family photos have to mean flowing dresses in a field at sunset. And while I absolutely love those sessions, they aren’t everyone’s style.

If your family feels more like ice cream runs, skateboards, scooters, city streets, coffee stops, and spontaneous adventures… let’s do exactly that. Your session should feel like your family, not someone else’s Pinterest board.

(And yes… this gallery stole almost nine hours of my life yesterday. 😂 But I was so obsessed with these moments that I happily spent an entire day editing every single one.)

I can’t wait for this beautiful family to relive this evening for years to come. 🤍

“Oh… let me wipe my camera.” 🤭✨

Nope… it wasn’t the lens.

It was simply impossible for one photo to capture how beautiful motherhood really is.

Every expecting mama carries a kind of glow that has nothing to do with makeup, lighting, or editing. It’s love… quietly growing before anyone else has even met it.

And getting to preserve that season will never stop feeling like an honor to me. 🤍

Motherhood has always been the kind of love that leaves me speechless.

A tiny hand holding onto mama while another little life is growing safely beneath her heart… it’s quiet, ordinary, and somehow the most extraordinary thing in the world.

I look at moms and I’m constantly in awe. The strength they carry, the patience they somehow find, the way they give so much of themselves without asking for anything in return… it’s beautiful in a way words never fully capture.

Maybe that’s why photographing motherhood has become such an obsession for me. Not because of the dresses or the pretty locations, but because these seasons pass so quickly. One day the little hand reaches for yours, and before you know it, it doesn’t.

These are the moments I hope your children will look back on someday and see exactly how deeply they were loved.

And honestly… I don’t think there will ever be a season of life that I’ll stop falling in love with photographing. 🤍

One little behind-the-scenes clip… and then the magic you see in the final photos. ✨

It’s funny how a few minutes in a field can turn into memories you’ll hold onto forever.

Senior year has a way of sneaking up on you. One day they’re asking for the car keys, and before you know it, you’re cheering them on at graduation. These photos become so much more than pictures—they become a reminder of who they were in this season of life.

My calendar for next year’s senior sessions has already started filling, so if you have a Class of 2027 senior (or even a Class of 2028 planner 😉), now is the perfect time to reach out. The best locations and dates always go first, and I’d love to help tell your senior’s story in a way that feels like them. 🤍

Can someone invent a magic sneeze that books maternity sessions? Asking for a photographer who is slightly obsessed with baby bumps. 😂🤍

Because honestly… I could photograph expecting mamas every single evening and never get tired of it.

Tell me… what was the funniest or weirdest thing that made you sneeze while you were pregnant? 😂🤍

One day, this little bump will be running through your house, asking a million questions, leaving tiny shoes by the door, and filling your heart in ways you can’t even imagine yet.

And one day, you’ll miss this.

You’ll miss the little kicks that only you could feel. The way your hands naturally rested on your belly. The quiet moments when it was just the two of you, dreaming about meeting each other.

Motherhood changes so quickly. We spend so much time waiting for the next chapter that we forget this chapter is worth holding onto too.

If you’re expecting, don’t wait until you “feel prettier,” “have more time,” or “lose a few pounds.” Your baby will never look at these photos and see any of those things.

They’ll see where their story began.

And years from now, you’ll look back and remember exactly how it felt to carry the greatest love of your life beneath your heart. 🤍

For the longest time, every time we’d drive past a field with hay bales, I’d look at my husband and say, “One day… I want to do a maternity session there.” 🤍

It wasn’t planned. It wasn’t on the mood board. It wasn’t even the reason we drove there.

Kassandra and I happened to see these beautiful hay bales sitting in the middle of the field and looked at each other… “We have to do this.”

And sometimes, those are the sessions that turn into magic.

The dreamy fog rolled in at just the right time, the location couldn’t have been more perfect, and working alongside Kassandra is always something I look forward to. We simply created… and somehow everything fell into place.

These are the sessions that remind me why I love what I do so much. Sometimes the best images don’t come from months of planning—they come from saying “Let’s try it.”

Safe to say… this little dream of mine finally came true, and I don’t think I’m getting over this gallery anytime soon. 🤍

Some people dream about vacations or fancy things…

I dream about golden light, the sound of waves, a growing bump, and the quiet excitement of maama’s waiting to meet the little soul who will change their world forever.

Maternity has my heart in a way I can’t quite explain. Every session reminds me that this season is so fleeting. The tiny kicks, the anticipation, the way a family is about to become something new… it deserves to be remembered.

If my soul could choose where to be, it would almost always be on a beach at sunset, camera in hand, telling another beautiful beginning. 🤍

If you’re waiting for the “perfect time” to book your maternity session, this is your little reminder that these moments don’t wait for us—but the memories can.
