Some of the most meaningful parts of this work happen outside the studio.

Time spent learning from incredible educators, taking workshops that challenge how we think and teach, and getting to be a student again is something I deeply value. A huge thank you to .puleo who poured into us this weekend, you don’t just expand our knowledge, you nourish how we show up for our clients.

And just as important: the people you do it with.

Being in community with other Pilates professionals, moving together, talking through ideas, laughing between sessions, swapping perspectives, is one of the best parts of this industry. That kind of connection sharpens everything.

I also had the best time stepping away for a bit with Kristine, equal parts learning, laughing, and real vacation moments mixed in. That balance is everything.

At Misfit, this is what investing in our clients looks like: we invest in ourselves first. We learn from the best so we can keep growing, refining, and bringing that energy straight back into the studio. 💜

We came out here to learn but we also came out here to live a little.

Between workshops and training, there’s been Pilates in beautiful spaces, lots of laughing, slow mornings, and the kind of conversations that don’t happen when you’re rushing from class to class.

This part matters too.

Stepping away to recharge, reconnect, and remember why we love this work is part of how we stay good at it. We pour into ourselves so we can come back to the studio with full energy, clearer eyes, and more to give to our clients.
