I'm officially trading in memory cards for campfires for a few days. 🤎
I'll be spending some much-needed quality time with my kiddos, making memories under the stars, exploring the outdoors, and soaking up every minute together. Because while I absolutely love capturing your moments, these little adventures with my own family mean the world to me too.

I'll be out of the office until Tuesday, so responses to messages, inquiries, and galleries may be a little slower than usual. I promise I'll get back to everyone as soon as I'm home.

Behind every beautiful photo...there's usually a little bit if chaos.🤣🌾

Step 1: Run
Step 2: Hope you actually make it onto the hay bale.
Step 3: Laugh when you don't and repeat steps 1 & 2.
Step 4: End up with photos that look effortless anyway.✨️

Thankfully they trusted the process (and me😅) because the final photos are BEAUTIFUL!

This is exactly why I love engagement sessions. They're not about standing perfectly still and smiling at the camera. They're about having fun together, making memories, and letting your personalities shine.

POV: You hired a photographer... but your toddler had other plans. 😂📸

Things I've photographed this week:
✔️ A child sprinting directly away from me
✔️ Dad checking his fantasy football score
✔️ Mom saying, "They're NEVER like this!"
✔️ Someone asking, "Can you Photoshop that out?" 🤣

The good news? I've seen it all.

Your kids don't have to sit perfectly still.
Your husband doesn't have to love taking pictures.
Your dog can absolutely join in.
And no one has to know there was a full-blown meltdown five minutes before the perfect family photo.

Trust the process. The magic usually happens somewhere between the chaos. ❤️
