🤎 TOP 10… AND MY HEART IS SO FULL. 🥹📸
A couple of months ago, I shared the news that S.Brown Photography had been nominated for Community Votes, and today the results came in! While I didn’t take home the first-place spot, I am beyond grateful and so proud to share that S.Brown Photography placed in the TOP 10!🥹🤎
I know to some people that might seem like a small thing, but to me, it means so much more than a placement on a list. It’s a reminder of how far I’ve come, how much this little business has grown, and how many incredible people have supported me along the way.
When I started S.Brown Photography in 2024, I had a camera, a dream, and a whole lot of hope. I knew I loved capturing memories for people, but I could have never imagined how much this little business would grow or how many amazing families, couples, seniors, and brides I would get the privilege of meeting along the way.
Every booking, every referral, every kind review, every share, every comment, every like, and every single vote has helped me get to where I am today. You might think it's just a quick click of a button or a simple comment on a post, but I promise you, those little things make a BIG difference to a small business like mine. They help more people find my work, they help my business grow, and they remind me that there are people out there who believe in what I'm doing. 🤎
And that means EVERYTHING to me.
I'm just a small-town photographer trying to build something meaningful out of something I love. I'm a mom, a wife, and a girl behind the camera who is constantly learning, growing, pushing herself, and trying to give every single client a gallery they can look back on and love for years to come. I'm still learning new things, trying new ideas, investing in my craft, and figuring things out as I go. I don't have everything figured out, and I'm certainly not perfect, but I put my heart into what I do.
Getting to capture your families as they grow, the anticipation of a new baby, the laughter between couples, the excitement of seniors stepping into a new chapter, and the once-in-a-lifetime moments of a wedding day is something I will never take for granted. These aren't just pictures to me. They're pieces of people's stories, little moments in time that will one day mean even more than they do today. Being trusted with those memories is something I will always be thankful for.
And to think that so many of you took the time to nominate me, vote for me, and cheer me on through this process? I truly don't have the words to explain how much that means. 🥹
I may not have won first place, but I still feel like I've won in so many other ways. I've gained the support of an amazing community, met so many wonderful people, watched my business grow, and been given opportunities that the girl who started this business in 2024 could only dream about.
So from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Thank you for choosing me to capture your memories. Thank you for trusting me with your most important moments. Thank you for recommending me to your friends and family. Thank you for supporting my little business, even when you aren't booking a session. Thank you for voting, sharing, commenting, and being here.
You are a huge part of this journey, and I would not be where I am today without you. This accomplishment belongs to all of us. 🤎
Here's to continuing to grow, continuing to learn, creating beautiful memories, and seeing just how far this little dream can go. I have so many things I want to do with S.Brown Photography, and I'm so excited to keep sharing this journey with all of you!
