Hi Friends! 💕
Today I’m excited to share some of my favorite photos from our own family session here at home and on the property at Specialty Photography. We gathered everyone together on July 3rd for a fun morning of laughter, hugs, and making memories.
Sarah and her family were here visiting from South Carolina, and Brad and his family, who live just two doors down from us, joined in too. Summer is always such a special time when our whole family can be together, and it is the perfect opportunity to capture new family portraits.
Peck and I have been blessed with two wonderful children, Brad and Sarah, and they both married amazing people whom we love dearly—Tori and Bryant. Between them all, we have seven
incredible grandchildren who bring so much joy to our lives. My mom, their Nana, also lives nearby, so it was extra special to capture beautiful photos with her as well.
One of my favorite things about a family session is creating that one big family portrait, along with all the different combinations that tell the story of a family through the years. And of course, I always treasure the photos of all the grands together!
These portraits truly took a team effort to make happen. Brad actually took most of the photos you’ll see, I edited them, and Tori was busy making all the little ones laugh and smile. The outtakes are absolutely a hoot, and I’ll have to share some of those soon! 😂
A big thank you to our whole family for helping make this special morning happen. And extra thanks to Sarah and Tori, who organized the entire photo day and coordinated all of our outfits and colors. Everyone did an amazing job!
Now comes the hard part… deciding which ones to print for the walls and frames. ❤️
Family photos are such a gift. They freeze a moment in time and become treasures that grow more valuable with each passing year.
