Rise up - Keep Going!!

Sometimes you have to remind yourself who you are. I did…I’m him!

This doesn’t mean I got here alone. It took motivation, support, sacrifice, and people who believed in me along the way but growth isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it means leaving people behind, staying focused, and continuing to push forward even when it’s difficult.

I’m my own biggest critic so I hold myself to the highest standard. Every day I’m striving to become better than I was yesterday.

Being self-reliant got me this far but I’ve learned that strength alone isn’t enough. Every lesson, every setback, and every victory has reminded me that God has been by my side the entire time even when I thought I was carrying it all by myself.

I’m still building. Still trusting. Still growing. At this time, I’m not relying on me alone. I’m letting God lead the way.

It’s a tall task tonight when 🇭🇹Haiti vs Brazil 🇧🇷 in the World Cup but I staying with my Haitians and this is why:

Haiti made history on January 1, 1804, when it became the first free Black republic in the world and the only nation created from a successful slave revolution.

Enslaved Africans, led by heroes like Toussaint Louverture and Jean-Jacques Dessalines, defeated the armies of France and won their freedom, proving that people fighting for liberty could overcome even the most powerful empire.

Haiti’s victory inspired freedom movements across the Caribbean, the Americas and helped pave the way for the end of slavery in many places.

I’m still on my way.
