This summer was incredible in our garden. Loved having American Lady butterflies visit now that we have their host plants (pearly everlasting and pussytoes). Here is one visiting the garden in July.

The moon setting behind the Maine State House on Saturday morning.

Photographed alongside Whitney. Our marker in PlanIt Pro wasn’t correct height wise so Whit moved over for the perfect shot of the moon behind the top of the state house while I decided to keep my timelapse going.

The early morning sun rising behind kayaks this morning before we headed back to Massachusetts. Managed to get a smaller sun star below the yellow kayak on the left from the reflection of the sun on the water behind the kayaks. ☀️

Thanks to Whitney’s friend Anne for letting us stay at her house in Maine. Our golden, Luna, absolutely loved swimming in the lake each morning.

The second photo is just a close up crop of the sun burst in the same shot.

The moon making a brief appearance high above Rockland Harbor Breakwater Light on Thursday evening.

Photographed alongside Whitney Shaw and Chris Murphy. It was great running into Chris unexpectedly - he had the same line up in mind before he headed up north for a hot air balloon festival.

A moody timelapse of last night’s partial lunar eclipse.

Video description: A moon that is mostly reddish-orange has a crescent size bright slice with light shining off it. The moon appears fully in scene, then disappears behind black clouds and re-emerges again at the end. The following lyrics play in the background from Buffalo Traffic Jam’s Pictures of You: “I’m starin’ at the moon, the moon, the moon.”
