The messy hair. The little smirk. The confidence that's starting to show. The personality that somehow changes a little more every year.

Back-to-school photos don't have to be about getting the perfect school-picture pose. They can simply capture who your child is at this moment — before another school year flies by.

Another issue designed and ready for readers. I love seeing all the individual advertisements come together into one finished publication — from designing ads for local businesses to building the overall layout of the paper.

This issue gave me another opportunity to combine advertisement design, layout design, and print production into a publication that's easy to read while still giving each business its own space to stand out.
