Biggest Storm I've ever seen on Brighton Seafront 🫪🌊

I've shared some of these before, but a few are new. I actually have a ton of photos I've not even looked at properly...maybe one day!

The 5th photo has some cormorants sitting on the 'wing' of the pier - their silhouettes uncovered by a wave as I previously didn't realise they were there!

I waited about 10 minutes for that first 'doughnut' photo as well, but I reckon it was worth it :)

Northern Lights over Poynings at the Weekend 💚🩷

I think this is my 4th attempt to get a decent aurora at this location close to Devil's D**e and I think it'll probably be my last! You might've seen a previous photo I shared where I just about got a glimpse through the clouds, but fortunately this time it was clear and quite a show!! After I took this photo the aurora disappeared fairly quickly, so all around I was pretty lucky 😊

Harvest Moon behind the Devil's D**e Pub Timelapse Video! 🌾🌝 I'm not sure I've ever had so many comments calling a photo fake or AI before 😅😅 They're definitely not from people who follow me already as I'm pretty sure you would've seen the many I've shared before!
Perhaps this timelapse video taken over about 15-20 minutes with 175 photos in it will appease the ones saying it's not real 😄

This evening's Harvest Moon over the Devil's D**e Pub 🌾🌕

I ran around carrying all of my camera equipment for about 40 minutes to 3 different locations to avoid trees, telegraph pole wires and hills from blocking the view. The whole time I thought it might be too cloudy, so I'm glad it ended up being clear 😊😅

Come see my first photography exhibition at the West Pier Centre from Friday 11th September (or come to the Private View the night before on Thursday 10th September 5.30-7.30pm). It'll be on until March '27, so no rush but it's mostly open on weekends 🩵

A short video of the Solar Eclipse about 10 minutes before it reached its maximum of 92% in Brighton 🌙

Insane to think that it's the Moon that's blocking out the Sun and that the Moon is the same size as the Sun from Earth!

The dark patches are Sunspots, which can release Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) that create Aurora here on Earth! 💜🌎
