The Waffle Stop 🧇🎙️🎶 (Elvis ate here)

I have a whole unreleased series of photos from the final day at The Waffle Stop. I was the last person to leave actually I think and they let me go-to-town taking some photos.

I tried to get as many details as I could. It was one of my happy places and I may never find another one like it. It was a special place to many. I'm hoping to put them all together in a photo slideshow maybe even with some original music.

What do you think? Would you like to see more of these photos? I can't be the only one who would like to see them again. I've been sitting on them for for almost two years at this point. I want to get them out into the world.

Weird Lightning ⚡️😵‍💫 8.29.26

This massive lightning day bolt struck yesterday around 6:08 PM. The storm had basically already stopped for about 20 minutes and was just a light drizzle. Then this monster came out of the blue and was incredibly loud!

It caught me off guard big time. Was only 0.4 miles in front of me and it think it struck in a canal near by in Sarasota. Do you remember hearing this one yesterday? I think it made a lot of people jump! That is how unpredictable lightning can be. It would have seemed like a good time to walk your dog or to check outside, then out of nowhere this beast struck down. Not the most dramatic shaped lightning but it sure was interesting.

Damon Powers Photography: Shout out to my good friend Damon for getting this amazing series of the Lunar Eclipse last night! 🌞🌎🌝🔭❤️

Great job Damon. We have been friends for over 15+ years I think. He still always manages to impress me with his compositions, skills, and his photo concepts and ideas. Make sure to follow him if you already aren't.

The funny thing is we always get messages about people thinking we are stealing each others lightning photos or other shots because they look so similar. Truth is we are usually just standing a few feet apart with our tripods when we are hanging out. Also, we get lunch or dinner a lot together or will be texting while people send in messages thinking we are stealing each others photos. But, last night Damon came up with this great photo idea and I took a lazy single frame of it from my driveway. You won this one good sir. WONDERFUL PHOTOGRAPHY.

An absolutely stunning lunar eclipse last night over Sarasota 🌕✨

This is something that I’ve always wanted to attempt and I managed to actually pull it off. Every hour for the full 5 hour span of the eclipse, I took an image of the moon. I wanted to show all the stages of the eclipse in one photo. This was quite the challenge but I’m very proud of how it turned out.
