Powder Sessions!

Very different from what I normally do but Dublin & Lexy reached out with an idea and I said hold my leash. I attempted it with my dogs and I’m kinda obsessed SO I’ll be offering powder sessions on two dates coming up!

It will be in a fenced in yard so reactive dogs are welcome. Big dogs, small dogs, athletic dogs, couch potatoes, trained, untrained, young, old, doesn’t matter they are all welcome!

Info for each dog in order:

Mochi is a 1 year old boxer mix and sweet as can be. She may be a bit shy at first due to her tough past but it doesn’t take long for her to warm up (took me like 5 minutes) and then you’ll have a gentle best friend for life. This lady stole my heart as she reminds me so much of my sweet Lulu girl.

Niblet is looking for his next adventure buddy! True to the cattle dog in him he would thrive in an active house, hiking, and even doing dog sports. He is insanely smart and so eager to learn. This boy is fun, fun, fun! He’s one of CASPCA’s team’s favorites!

Rufus is a 6 year old hound and a true gentleman. He is affectionate, loves belly rubs, and will snuggle like no other. He loves to use his nose and would enjoy a yard to sniff around in or walks he can use his snoot on. He will be sure to bring joy to a calm and peaceful home.

Nora is a stunning 5 year old husky mix (be still my heart). She is gentle and mellow and would someone to do life beside her and allow her room to roam at her own pace. She needs a little bit of time to get to know someone (which I’m sure we can all relate to) but once she does, you’ll have the best pup for quiet evenings and peaceful walks. Literally ready to stargaze with you.

Last but not least, Buddy! He’s 11 but you better not tell him cause he has no idea he is! He loves his toys, especially a good tennis ball. A little bit of play and this sweet man will be ready to snuggle or sleep through your meetings if you work from home. He would be such ab amazing family dog who would be sure to fit in and make it whole.

The sweetest gift

This session was gifted by their best friend when they found out Yoshi had cancer. Throughout this session we talked about the life they’ve had with Yoshi and man, did she do everything with them.

There wasn’t an adventure she didn’t go on with Angie and Derick. She went to work with Derick and while he surveyed land she explored. She was there at their wedding when they got married. Every big and small moment, there’s memories of Yoshi.

A rescue dog, Yoshi brought so much love and joy into their lives while also clearly being absolutely adored.

We did this shoot at a spot that had meaning to them. A spot where they had adventures with Yoshi, and Yoshi scrambled those rocks like she knew exactly where each one was.

From now until forever after, Yoshi will be cherished.

Happy (a little late) Father’s Day to every kind of father out there, including our pet dads.

You know the ones.

The ones who says he doesn’t care if he gets a picture with the pet but then immediately changes his background to it after.

The ones who sleeps in impossible positions so the pet can get a great sleep score every night.

The ones who celebrate the good days, and end up being the one who carries everyone through the hard ones.

The ones who makes up ridiculous nicknames that have nothing to do with the pets real names.

The ones who you catch singing songs that they’ve added the pet’s name into.

The ones who stay strong for everyone when the vet gives bad news, but quietly breaks down later on.

The ones who are ALWAYS the fun parent of the house.

The only one the pet is allowed to break rules with.

The one who loves the pets with their whole heart and whole soul.

We are so thankful for all of the father’s in this world and celebrate you every day.
