If you didn't know, now you know! Chip and Marmie have entered the scene!! Our first grandson was born on Sunday just before midnight and he is perfect. Judah Meadows we love you forever. Tori Roberts Taylor and Israel Taylor you guys are going to be the best parents. Your love for Judah is astounding. May the Lord bless you and keep you!!

Ok ok... He's not really going by Chip. He'll be Pop Pop. But personally my vote is for Chip 😂

Now to just wait a couple months for it to dry and cure and then add some varnish. Maybe a frame too....?

I will walk right by the canvas on the easel in the middle of my living room and look at this painting from this picture. It gives me a fresh perspective and it also gives me a degree of separation. So many times I will feel stuck or try figuring out what it is I don't love about a painting or why something isn't working or just give it a few days to see if I'm done. I have to do this with every single painting I do. Inevitably, something sticks out that I want to change. And most often it's something that absolutely no one else would see. But I will. And that's where I am on this one. I feel pretty pleased but I'm just wondering how I'll feel tomorrow.
