Aloha, I’m Megan! 👋🏽 The photographer + face behind MD Photography. I’m a Hawaiʻi based wedding, couples & family photographer.
I’ve been a full-time photographer for over 5 years now and somehow it’s been a WHILE since I’ve actually introduced myself around here. So whether you’ve been following along for years or you’re brand new to my little corner of the internet, I figured it was time. 🤎
What started as a creative passion turned into a career that I genuinely still can’t believe I get to call mine. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing so many chapters of people’s lives: engagements, weddings, growing families, anniversaries, and all the beautiful moments in between.
When I’m clocked in, I’m your photographer, editor, business owner, location scouter, dress fluffer, posing guide, timeline helper, and biggest supporter. Basically, I’m doing whatever I can to make sure you feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself in front of my camera.
But there’s a whole person behind the camera, too. 🥹
When I’m clocked out, I’m a wife, mom, dog mom, Jesus follower, gym girly (which I never expected to become), beach lover, and someone who is pretty much always dreaming up her next creative idea.
A LOT has changed since I first picked up a camera and started this little business — including me. But the heart behind what I do has stayed the same.
I love people. I love connection. And I love creating photographs that don’t just show you what a moment looked like, but remind you what it felt like.
So, that’s me. 🤎
