I was blessed to travel deep into the Ozarks of Missouri to Shannon County, where wild horses still roam. My grandmother was born in Shannon County, and my oldest niece Winona, bares the name of tiny little dot on the map where my grandmother and her family originated from, I even have a little ink on my right arm thats a constant reminder of this sacred place and all the people I hold close to my heart that we reunite with there.

My sweet husband made his maiden voyage into the mountains with me this year, and made it his personal goal for me to be able to see the wild horses. He drove me all over gods country in the early mornings trying to locate a band of wild horses. Up the mountains, down in the river beds, along dirt roads, and paved highways (I found a buckeye tree too ❤️🩶), until we came across the Round Springs band of Wild Horses and their new foal.

My heart sang watching these guys. The way they surround that baby, the yearling that still wants to nurse off his momma, that stallion that stands at attention, the way the mares move the herd, and call to each other from inside the forest. Coolest thing I think I have ever witnessed in person.

And before you say, Oh well there’s a fence, she’s full of it, they were munching on clover (see the case the of the drools they had), right outside of the entrance to Echo Bluff State Park.

I was blessed to co-host a baby shower for my beautiful cousin today, and had the absolute honor of meeting Lennon from Lennon's Luxe Lemonade! 👶🏼

You talk about a young person with incredible manners, work ethic, and kindness and not to mention seriously good (I’m talking county fair on hot day good 🎡🎠) lemonade. 🧊🍋

He’s available for events and parties, anddddddddd is a fellow GOAT LOVER! ❤️🐐

Seriously…..Cough Cough (Senior Parents) talk about a fun and unique thing to add to a grad party!!

I’ll be honest, I really struggled with this shoot.

Not because Diana was difficult or anything like that, just because every time I looked at her, my brain immediately started singing Micheal Jackson’s “Dirty Diana”. 🎶

Kenton HS Senior: Diana. Y’all watch out for this one, this girl is one of those powerful young ladies I praise so frequently. 💪🏼

People: Listen to me; let your daughters play in the dirt, let them play with horses and livestock, let them get their hind ends kicked by a hyped up calf, let them be true to themselves and watch them shine! 🤩

You’re a Rockstar Di, beautiful in every way. 🤘🏼💫

Attention Seniors and Parents,
I have gotten asked the same question repeatedly in the last few days so I thought I should make an announcement to address the common issue.

When you ask me “What Should I expect for our session?” And I respond “I don’t know.”

I truly DO NOT KNOW; what anyone should expect, because I don’t know what to expect.

In the last 3 weeks I’ve had; pigs doing tricks, pigs posing for pictures, a 92” Pink flamingo pool floatie, a bison running a senior up a fence (BISON, KID, CHAOS, it was all there), loose cow, bleeding cow, donkey Named Carlos, and pig named “Gary”, Taylor Swift magazine, mechanical bull, and an usual amount of photo’s of just feet.

So I truly don’t know.

Prepare for all, relish in the many, and let’s continue this wild summer with your ideas.
