This has become one of my favorite spots to grab some night sky shots. Every time i find myself on I70 heading east and so long as my delivery schedule would allow it, even if its just for my 30 min dot break like the evening this was shot, i make a point to stop at the Ghost Rock rest area just east of Green River Utah. My favorite milky way shots were taken here and this shot of the Ghost Rock structure splitting a setting Orion and Canis Major, while certainly not perfect (hence why i never posted it until now... really should have focus stacked and light painted a bit but i only had 20 minutes on location) i think is a fun and unique shot.
