These motherhood sessions were intentionally different.
No colour. No pressure to perform. No expectations of perfection.
Just space to be with your children exactly as you are in this season of life.
I wanted to create something that felt real. The kind of moments that happen on your living room floor. The laughter, the cuddles, the chaos, the way your little ones look at you when you’re simply present with them.
This beautiful mama and her boys fully embraced it. They played, laughed, wrestled, snuggled, and simply enjoyed being together. The result wasn’t a collection of perfect photographs—it was a story.
Because motherhood isn’t found in the perfectly posed moments. It’s found in the in-between. The ordinary moments that one day become the memories we miss the most.
As someone who has lost a parent, I think about this often. Sometimes all we have left of the people we love are photographs. Not because they were perfectly dressed or having their best day, but because they existed in the frame.
Your children don’t care about the things you worry about. They don’t see your flaws. They don’t notice the extra pounds, the messy hair, or the never-ending to-do list.
To them, you’re home. You’re comfort. You’re their whole world.
And that’s worth documenting.
