I hope this kind of love finds everyone.

The kind of love that pays attention.
The kind of love that is thoughtful.
The kind of love that spends weeks planning a moment simply because making someone else feel loved matters that much.

When Reade reached out about proposing to Bella, he poured so much care into every part of it. We tossed around ideas, explored locations, and eventually landed on the perfect spot.

A month later, it all came to life.

Bella was completely surprised, absolutely ecstatic, and said yes.

Getting to witness moments like this never gets old. What a beautiful beginning for two incredibly sweet humans. 🤍

And a little shoutout to a past client of mine for unknowingly helping make this happen. I photographed her wedding here last October, and when Reade and I were searching for the perfect location, these gardens immediately came to mind. It ended up being just as perfect for a proposal as it was for a wedding day.

Some places seem to hold a little romance in their roots. ✨

Coastal living looks a little different when you’re flying above the water. 🌊

I recently had the opportunity to create branding imagery for South Shore ’74 in Topsail Beach, NC, and honestly, it was one of those sessions that reminded me how much I love photographing businesses that are deeply connected to where they call home.

From first-time riders taking their very first eFoil lesson to seasoned pros chasing their next adventure, South Shore ’74 is creating experiences that are equal parts freedom, excitement, and fun. We spent the day documenting what makes this business special: the people, the energy, and the feeling of being out on the water with nowhere else to be.

If you’ve ever wanted to see Topsail from a completely different perspective, this might just be your sign.

One year around the sun and a beach full of memories.

One of my favorite parts of doing what I do is getting to watch families grow. I first met this family before their youngest was here, and getting the opportunity to see them again and document this new chapter was such a gift.

We spent the evening at Topsail Beach celebrating a first birthday with sandy toes, salty air, a little sailboat, and plenty of laughter. These are the moments I love most. The genuine interactions, the curiosity of childhood, and the memories that often feel ordinary now but become the moments you’ll cherish years from today.

Thank you for trusting me once again to document your family. It is always an honor to be welcomed back and to help preserve these seasons as they unfold.
