Not to have pulled a Sia over the years, but here’s our fair mugs, had you ever wondered.
We had a moment at the edge of July to update our Team Photos but photographic evidence aside, what we are is not our appearance.
15 years (2368 Bear Traps) in this industry together, & we’re still aging, absorbing, articulating… art-making.
The folds of “the formula” are organically ever-changing, & will continue to throw us around but that’s what keeps it interesting.
We shoot editorial, candid, detail etc & somewhere in that intersection is where we’ve always found our sweet spot. Those who have sought out our services have consistently defined us as more than “documentation”.
We are comfortably adaptable to new aesthetics while preserving the integral bones of professionalism that can grant a smooth-running day without robbing you of precious time.
Because we are inspired by much inside & outside of this wedding bubble. We’ve taken risks that have both failed & succeeded, borrowed, absorbed, discarded, reworked, & occasionally surprised ourselves. We’ve only grown hungrier from every experience.
This social media world has a way of rewarding same’ness, causing a train of remakes we’ll all, from time to time, find ourselves guilty of.
But 15 years in, we’re still more interested in making than remaking.
And there is one thing we’ve learned that no aesthetic, trend, Pinterest board or “formula” can really account for:
You can’t guide candid life.
You can anticipate it. You can create room for it. You can recognize it when it arrives.
But you can’t choreograph the good stuff.
And perhaps that’s why, after all these years, we’re still here for it all.
