After having my daughter last year my world completely shifted, so did what I wanted to photograph. I live in a. State of constant nostalgia and wishing I could squeeze every drop of her happiness and sweet little personality and funny things she does into forever. It’s given me fresh eyes for the way I photograph you and your children and all I can hope is one day when you’re old and grey you’ll look at your photos and remember how it felt.

If you’re lucky enough to know this family, you’ll know how these photos encapsulate their sweet, loving, kind, wonderful souls.

I used to work in a tiny coffee stand with Jess and I remember the day she came in, took an order right away, and passed me the cup to make the drink that read “I’m pregnant 💗”. I knew her and Jordan were going to be the most incredible parents. And when El was born I remember asking Jess if I could take her newborn photos. I had little to no experience and was so scared. My work was not good in any respect, and Jess was an already established amazing photographer, and still said yes. I showed up to her house to meet the most beautiful baby girl and take photos of her and her mama in their home.

6 years later I’ve watched her family grow into TWO beautiful children, a successful business and an incredibly loving marriage. What an honor to capture their love and share their joy all these years later. 💌

I am enamored with every aspect of motherhood- The mundane things like changing clothes for the third time that day, figuring out how to keep them entertained when the day is almost over, the sweet snuggles, watching them learn the world with fresh eyes, the giggles, watching them look to you for comfort and safety. Every bit of it is endless nurturing, and the most selfless love. Moms are truly superhero’s and it’s such an honor to capture all of these special little moments that make up your days.
